As a matter of "protest" I would rather buy all SVTs from that "parade", who knows, maybe you'll finally get your 1945! I don't need many, maybe just 2-3

I wonder how much weight a polymer stock would actually remove?

We had a prototype aluminium stock system ready for SVT 40 2 years ago but it added way to much wight to the rifle. With the stock and optics installed rifle was 7.2 kg. If similar system could be made from Polymer I think it would work. Aluminium was just to heavy for it

Im sure it would add a bit.....those original stocks are SO light. I'd be happy to shoot the SVT in a polymer without worrying about cracking my stocks.
