I just bought this guy and hopefully it will be here this week so I can try it out and give a review. I was using my old norc trigger on my build because it was the only trigger that would fit the norc ambi safety and I was okay with it but last time I was at the range I was like this thing friggin sucks and really I have not used the ambi safety once so I need a new trigger. just something basic so I came across this for under $100. it looks good and has good reviews so we will see.

Where the heck did you pick up the Hyperfire? For whatever reason I had been under the impression that the classification was swinging towards the prohib side and I stopped following them. Interested to hear more about this.

I think you're thinking of a different trigger. I think I know which you're thinking of, but I forget it's name.

CTCS sells the expensive high end 24c. I haven't seen this cheaper model around.

i think your thinking of the hellfire trigger lol. this is a duty spec trigger. the more expensive models are more race type precision type triggers. but even at a little over $200 they would be worth trying in the future. i just wanted something cheap and easy to replace the Norco trigger. this is an option that anyone can afford and i hope it turns out to be a good one.

where did you get it ??????????

How much lighter do I want to get than the 3.5??? Any lighter without a first stage and it would be like my Blaser trigger and way too touchy I'd think??

I had people freak out over shooting with my S3G along the lines "OMG this thing is dangerous, shoots BY ITSELF!!!"... Realistically speaking, I could get used to something even lighter but because I've got it in a rimfire (IPSC Mini-Rifle) build, I decided to keep the stock springs to ensure solid strikes. Going lighter wouldn't make me any faster.

this trigger is just far superior to any mil-spec trigger out there. no matter what gun you have a norc or colt or what ever. if its got a mil-spec trigger. buy this thing. anyone can afford it for under $100 and it is so so much better. it feels tight and the way a trigger should be and then the brake is just clean and microscopically short. no grit at all just smooth and the reset crazy. I put the 4.5lb spring on mine and its just perfect. I wouldn't hesitate to use the 5.5lb one if I was don't comp tho.
the way this thing shoots you don't need the higher end trigger unless you plan to do long distance shooting. my gun is a 10.5 so this trigger is just the perfect one.
