How many species to hunt in SOUTH AFRICA

Just had a shock on how many species of game animals are huntable in SA alone. I always (and probably because i concentrate more on them for my market) thought we had roughly 40-42 species that can be harvested (not including wingshooting, rabbits or waterfowl) in the 8-9 provinces in SA. To my astonisment over 65 species (most of them endemic, with some that was introduced)

Africa's greatest problem is that there are too many subsistence hunters.

And you forgot there are 2 types of kudu and 2 types of zebra.............not to mention all the color phases of springbok, blesbok and the like.......and 3 species of bushbuck, if I'm not mistaken.

only one specie of kudu in SA - which is the greater kudu, even hunting the "cape kudu" would be the same specie...The lesser kudu not to be found in SA, but in Kenya and Tanzania i think!

yes, (might have different color to it and i know much less in horn and body size than Kudu more North in SA). The only other specie i know off in Africa is the lesser kudu.
