Dunno why I never bought one of these anytime sooner, KWC 1911 R2

The amazon carries tanfoglio witness which is internally the same (but no rail and no ambi safety if I remember correctly). Usually pretty good price on these.

Yeah I bought it when it was on sale 150.00 + Shipping ( no tax ) Thumb safety on it could have more pressure against it. I do flick it up sometimes. What are you getting for how many rounds per CO2? I fire 3 mags and then normally change the Co2..

I'm getting about 45 decent shots + 15 getting progressively weaker. #65 just kinda rolls out of the barrel ;). I generally put 5 mags (loaded with 10 bb each) and then swap the cartridge.

The Tanfoglio 1911 is available now on Amazon for 104.99+tax

are these bb or pellet or both?
I'm interested in this and the Remington 1911 rac they are basically the same?
They're 6 mm plastic pellets. Airsoft. (at least all the stuff I've seen from KWC is)

The cool thing is that you can shoot at humans with it, which makes for great CQB practice. But the guns are cheaply made with loose barrels that wobble around. If they put any thought into the design, they'd be shooting 1 inch groups at 10 meters.

Strips down almost like a 1911.

So far put 2 c02 thru it and about 8 mags and I love it. Fits and feels like my 2 other ( real steel 1911's ) Blowback just shy under a 22LR. So far been giving me good holster drill practice. Plus fun mini IPSC indoors.

That's awesome! It looks a lot like the Remington R1E. Awesome that Pyramidair ships to Canada too!
15 years ago, before I got my PAL, I collected airsoft for backyard plinking (this was before neighbors used to get all freaked about some nut with a gun in his yard), but it was pretty damn expensive back then. Pistols were about $400 and anything long was at least $600. Some of these "toys" looked, felt, weighed and functioned like their real counterparts.

When I sold all my stuff, they were still worth money (some airsoft ARs were going for about $2,000!!!!) and got into the real deal because it wasn't much more.

I had no idea airsoft stuff has come down so much in price. I'm going to have to look into these things again because it'd be nice to do some indoor plinking (haha, no more backyard plinking) once in a while instead of driving 2 hours to the nearest range or 3 hours to the closest chunk of crown land.

The great thing about airsoft is, the ammo is WAY cheaper (not sure about gas and CO2 cartridges nowadays), you can discharge in your basement. Also might looking into some of those airsoft versions of the AKs........cheaper than a DEWAT anyway.

KWC makes 3 1911 pistols that are all BB shooters, not airsoft! The R2 has a rail and ambi safety. The Tanfoglio Witness and Swiss Arms 1911 are almost identical to each other with right thumb safety. I believe the 'lawyer disclaimer' text on the TW is more prominent (white) than on the SA. They should all take the same mags, and will all take real 1911 grip plates, with a small modification. You can use standard holsters with them, too.

The Winchester doesn't use the same magazine type, so grips are harder to modify to fit. I'm not sure about the Remington, but it looks nicer than the Winchester.

I'm sure KWC makes lots of airsoft, but these aren't those.

Grips you need to cut out a channel on the back side to comp for the hump for the c02.

4.5mm BB.

1"at 10m from a smooth bore?
