Anyone found a drum magazine for the Remington 597?

I've got the cheesy 30 rd stick magazine for my bull barrel 597, but honestly it's the ####s; much like having an AK with that stupid mag hanging down and screwing up your prone shooting. Has anyone ever seen a drum mag available for this little remington?

Even though they're making bank on the Ruger drum mags, after all the crap and abuse the Mounties put them through on it (which lasted for YEARS before they were able to bring it to market), what do you think the odds are they're going to want to invest the $$ in going through all that abuse again, for a potential profit that may, or may not, be possible years down the road?

Wasn't aware of the history with the Feds. I'll have to research that. I see they make one for two rifles so far.

The horsemen will still need to classify it and clear it for import before CBSA will touch it.
