SKS with a walnut stock

Wow nice stock indeed!

I would buy another SKS just to fit it in that stock (if we knew what it was and was reasonably attainable).

How is the fitment? Any play? If you look carefully, you can tell if it's stamped or hand carved. Either way, a very nice stock!

The fitment is nice and tight.
I wish it had the cut out for the bayonet

Saw same sks walnut stock this past weekend at Pullen's in Victoria. Really nice, checkering was well done (not cheaply pressed in) and stock felt more narrow than regular stock.

Do you know if they are just selling the stock. Next time you go in can you ask if they know who makes it.

Not sure who makes it, he gets it from his dealers... He has one with SKS 399 and two just the stock 199... No mail order

CT in Town here has those. They also have one that's in a laminated target stock with a bipod. Pretty but kinda pricy. Walnut stock is I think $369 and the target stock is $500 something I think. Regular Russian SKS is $199.

If anyone is looking for one I see Frontier Firearms is selling them.
It's a really beautiful stock and pics don't do it justice.
