Anyone have a source to grab a 14" mossberg 590a1?

Seem to be a bit behind the eight ball each time I've seen them.

Any known retailers in Canada still have them in Stock?
 
Saw a couple of them in the EE this past month. Don't think they lasted long though.
I think they might have dried up at retailers.
 
Yeah thats one of them that I noticed.
The local sale is likely the only reason it's still up.

I had my little beast out last Tues. Ran a 25 slugs through it and got some impressive results at 30-40 yds. The new front sight and SGA stock I put on it really improved it IMO.
 
I just replaced the small / short bead with an only slightly taller HiViz fiber optic bead from Cabela's.
I can see it better over the top of the receiver, and is sufficient for the above mentioned distances I use it for.
This gun has the modified bore/choke as well. As you can tell, the wall is a tad thicker at the muzzle than the regular thick 590A1 walled barrel.
I have other shotguns for 50+ yrd slug shooting so this one works out nicely.

They pop up on the EE and I'm surprised that people aren't marking them up as the word is, these weren't supposed to come here and more units probably will not come again.

I love mine. If you can't find one, get a 14" Fabarm.

Where do ya live? you close to fort mac. Id sell ya mine but im in too much pain to ship anything, pinched nerve. when I recover if your still looking ill drop ya a line.

The Mossbergs are nice guns no doubt.

But it's not like it's hard to find a short-barreled shotgun in Canada these days.

Maybe he wants a Mossberg shorty... The forum is filled with people who like one over the other. If he finds one around the $600 mark (what these went for) and holds on to it for a while, I can almost guarantee he won't lose a penny on it if he goes to sell it. Doubt if any more of these will come here.

Back when these were scarce, I think people were asking $1500 for them. Those Modified versions sure flew off the shelves too... sounds like they'd be a hot item. Maybe IRG will bring some in, you never know.

Sound like they're cosmetically ugly as hell and higher priced than they used to be, $669:

Please note, these shotguns do not have as good of a finish as other 590A1 Shotguns. The parkarized Barrels will wear on the first movement of the slide, and the reciever color may not match the barrel.

 
Honestly, the finish difference they claim is totally normal. Only the barrel and trigger assembly should match color. The receiver is black.
