Lots of everything.

^ Lots of sun and blue skies (at the start).

^ Lots of vehicles (and lots of flags also for some reason, they do love their flags)

^ Lots of smallarms.

^ Lots of spectators.

^Lots of rain.

^Lots of mud.

Lots of post event cleaning back in the garage of dreams. I sucked out three wet vac loads of water from the schwimmer then set to work oiling guns, drying canvas and tidying up the car.

Lots of good stuff! I can only imagine the money that is spent bringing some of those old machines back to life, then transporting them to shows, housing them, etc.. Many thanks to those people who go to all the effort and expense so the rest of us can enjoy them.

Your Schwimmwagen attracted a lot of attention and added authenticity to our setup. Our guys enjoyed having it parked at the camp. Thank you!
You should bring it to Fort George in August. Organizers liked static display and the show we did last year, so our group was invited again.

Saw the show on saturday for the first time, brought my two young boys, we all loved it. Great show to see all that armor and vehicles in one place and operating. Loved hearing the .50 cal on top of the sherman tank. Well worth it

2nd year vet of this "high caliber" show! Simply an amazing showcase of firepower! Thank you to all who had a hand in this spectical, I only hope it stays and grows! If anyone has not heard a 50 cal being fired, you havnt lived!!! Cheers!

Great show, will be on next year. Lots of people.....till it rained. So that puts next year in better weather.

Yeah the word is poorly passed I rolled in with my car from Ottawa totally not sure who/what/when/why was going on and figured if it sucked I would just turn around and head home. I told some of the staff that they should pass info along regarding participation and got the "well we are on Facebook" reply. Seems they do some sort of "tank day" each Saturday during the summer. I went, ran into lots of folks I had not seen in years, had a few pops, showed my car, got rained on and headed home. I had a good time and will go again 2016, may even debut the Kettenkrad then.

They really need to advertise it more would have attended..
Correct in the poor advertising and passage of info for either spectating or participating, to this shows credit they are not alone in "getting the word out" as I ran into that situation here in Ottawa regarding the Canadian Tulip Festival. Seems if you are not one of the cool kids you are not invited to the party...........unless one invites themselves. Talking to other folks we have come the conclusion that those tasked to advertise or spread the word walk into the nearest supermarket, find the cork board that has local notices pinned to it, thumbtack a hand drawn notice of the event and call it Mission Accomplished. That or throw something up on Facebook and leave it at that, so many history based forums to post notices and they fail to jump on board those.

Will try and be there next year. I have visited thier musem and injoyed it( twice) to hom bo I adress to get a ride in one of the armored vehicles? Want to bring my nephew next year and a ride and one would be great for him.Ya! I can hear you‘s guys( he's just using his nephew as an excuse) its totaly for him ! And thats my story and Iam sticking to it!:agree:
