Curious how many of you keep a secret supplier to yourself. Like your secret fishing hole. I went to mine yesterday and picked up enough component to keep me going for the next couple of years. They always have what I need. Sometimes they get short but resupply fairly quick and the best prices around. Maybe I'm gloating a little here, just curious if others do the same in light of the mass shortages else where.

I guess most of have these places..... Mine keeps a little of my favourite things behind ... Just for when I come by on my weekly visits lol

No need to excuse yourself.
you're not the only one who is prepared.
The powder was all bought after Sandy Hook before the shortages made their way to Canada.
The bullets were bought Last spring before the dollar tanked.

The problem with keeping your supplier a secret is that you're in effect denying him more clients. You think he'd thank you for that?

Something I wasn't able to stock further on was 30 cal bullets , have enough but that case looks better. Or is that.224. Just as sweet! Nicely done sir.

Looks like the hornady 6k case of 224.
Yup. I ordered it end of March 2014 and I received it end of August 2014.
I told the owner that I wasn't in a rush and I wouldn't call and bug him every week.
When they arrived he called and I went and picked it up.
The remaining 2.5K of .30 SMK's are in the primer picture.

I zip it when it comes to my powder supply guy and there are enough of us locals "in the know" that it is rationed out every delivery amongst us. He still making a tidy living and everyone has components to keep us reloading nicely!!! He is pretty content old school with no desire for a mega store front....

D.K.

So....you really just created a thread to lord it over us all. Classy :/

(we were all thinking it)

I'm fortunate that I live down the street from probably 2 of the 3 largest powder importers in Canada. I picked up an 8lb jug of WSF to try in 9mm and 25k SPP primers last night. Going to try and load some test rounds tonight.

If you're around Brandon, Mb, the Home Hardware got a shipment of 4198, 3031, retumbo, varget and some others for $44 a lb. Kind of pricey from the last time I got powder there, picked up the last 4064 on the shelf.
