So I put the cart before the horse....well...before I even bought the cart, and decided on going for my restricted. Not loads of cash to spend...right now...so I've decided to delve into the .22lr catagory. I already bought a couple thousand rounds of cheap win 22lr's, and fondled a cheap Browning buckmark UFX(?). It felt good in the hand, my left hand mind you, and the price was right at $380 plus tax. But of course, I'll be looking a used one, again to keep the costs down, ergo, keep the wife happy!
I would only be looking at shooting a half dozen times a year, and getting my daughter into the sport, although she has already pheasant and duck hunter a few times, who would'nt like shooting a pistol.
So......

. I'm thinking Buckmark or GSG 1911. That is if I don't talk myself back into getting a 9mm. And in my case we don't have kids but I have a wife who's very interested in shooting pistols as well. So may have to get two new guns before long
