Show your PYTHONs & Snakes Here +++

Well I finally got my letter for the 1957 Python. Couple interesting points. It is an early 1957 and there were 6 units in the shipment to Ontario. So we know they are out there!

6 guns doesn't necessarily mean they were all Pythons. That being said, I heard the ladies at the Albion Knitting company were very excited about the new Colt snake guns so it's possible they were!!

PS: Your gun was manufactured on my 1st birthday !!!

2 of my nickel 8 inch Pythons. Top one is the nickel target yes 1 of 251 made. Middle Python 1981 made. Bottom for a twist is the 8 inch Trooper (E) nickel Mark V. The black beauty pic is a rare Smython created by famous PPC gun master Bill Davis. Bill Davis PPC Sacramento CA USA, police pistol competition shooting. This Smython is a Python barrel 6 inch on a S&W MD 19 frame, a true work of beauty created by the famous PPC Bill Davis. A late 70`S gun special thanks to my good buddy Gerry in Florida to help me on this one. Take care and be safe everyone.

Beautiful Revolvers! Does it get any better?

That 38 target model is a particularly nice find. I'm definitely partial to the 8 inch models.

Thank you gdawg. The Python nickel target box and papers was a long search that's for sure. The E nickel Trooper MK V was even harder to find especially LNIB with all the original paper work. 8 inch models are very nice that is for certain. I always have been drawn to them as well.

Yes I don't think I have ever seen an 8 inch Trooper. Very nice

Safe queen no more!!!

No one is promised tomorrow so today I decided to shoot 2 guns I have never fired , one of them being a 1987 bright stainless Python. Seriously........... I don't know why I waited so long. This gun is a dream to shoot. I even let a couple of friends shoot it and we all were making nice tight groups !! I am going to start enjoying my safe queens!!!

Congratulations! I know it takes something. I have been doing that more myself now...still have a couple to go :)

Good on you Jellybean. I've restricted myself to shooting only my Custom Shop blue Python, but it really has the nicest action of any of them. I haven't found a good enough reason to shoot any of the others. If I decide to shoot that NIB nickel, I'll let you know so you can mist up a little!

The most beautiful revolver ever made. Friends dad has one that I am watching/guarding very closely. Not much of a handgun guy but I would love to have that revolver.

cheers
