It's not so easy - for me - to find info on the actual weight of this rifle so I thought I'd post a picture of one I picked up the other day:

It is in .270 Winchester. I saw another photo of another one in the same chambering that was on a digital scale and it was a hair under 5lbs 15oz.

That's going to make a nice carrying rifle I bet. If you haven't tried talley lightweights this would be the perfect time! It would seem a shame to put anything else on it :)

I bought one 2 weeks ago in 300WSM, It shoots great, put talley light weights on it and a zeiss 3-15 hd5. Let us know how yours shoots

Nechako Outdoors has a couple, Wholesale Sports and Cabela's

I will be using Talley's and maybe a Z3 3-10x42 BRH

well, well, well...... this may just be the Answer to my Quest of lightweight packer rifle...... upgrade the old .308 T3 lite for one of these Superlites... Thanks!!

Do you know if they come in Left Hand?

I don't think they are available in a left hand version.

I got one at Cabela's a few months back, in .300WinMag. Just under 7 pounds with a full-size Leupold on board in Talley alloy rings. I went slightly overboard on selling my old rifles and decided that I needed one stainless/synthetic do-everything rifle for back-up/loaner/just-in-case use. This one fits the bill beautifully, and shoots way better than it needs to. I'm toying with the notion of putting on a B&C stock from Prophet River, but that'll take me over 7 pounds...what a pig that would be! :)

From an earlier post:

Tikka superlite 22-250, fluted bolt, yodave spring, hunters edge olive w black n tan speckles, talley lightweights, Leupold vx-6 3-18x44, B&T lightweight bipod. Weighs 7lb 2oz without bipod, 7lb 10oz with it. Stock is 5oz lighter than factory synthetic.

How is the recoil and muzzle jump? I'm not the recoil-sensitive type and I take it that neither are you, but I am curious as I am considering a lighter stainless synthetic in 300wm.

Sorry for the double post, comments on recoil and muzzle jump? Manageable?

Finally got the rifle out to the range. I topped it off with Talley lightweights and a Zeiss Victory HT 2.5-10x50

Loads are 51.5gr of H4350, Nosler brass, 130gr Ballistic Tips and CCI BR-2 primers. This is the first and only load I have tried.

Man the T3 lite in 30-06 kicks hard core

Add a Limbsaver and try lighter bullet weights. A 165 will do pretty much everything. The load I tried today is quite light, and is probably around 2800fps. This is my wife's rifle - her first - and I wanted something comfortable to carry and shoot. Even with such a mild load it will be deadly on deer sized game.

I had one in .338 WM and it weighed just over 6.25lbs with a Leupold 2.5x M8 in Talley mounts. It really got your attention with 250gr Nosler Partitions. Roughly equal in felt recoil to an unscoped .375 Ruger Alaskan shooting 300gr bullets.

Not to worry but much appreciated. That's my buddies goto rifle. I tried it and it mounts well but that's not shooting too.
