North American Hunting Club

Waste of your money...

But if you want to have some fun, send back the little card for a "free" trial membership, then cancel when you get your first magazine. If they reat you like me, they will continue sending you magaziones, and of course invoices and bills and letters threatening legal action...

All of which you will ignore, since it's not worth thier time to go to court over $15:dancingbanana:

They still exist? They are still ripping people off up here in Canada?

The junk mail I use to get from them was like Capital One credit to me. In the garbage it goes.

Put your money into something that caters to Canada or your money buys farmland food plots for whitetails in the states somewhere.

RMEF or WSF comes to mind.

Ya i subscribed for 1 year and the Crap they sent me was unbeliveable. Books i didnt ask for ect.
Then i said i didnt want another year but there still sending stuff Mags ECT

My post lady Writes Take off mailing list and sends it all back.
They will get tired of this after awhile.
The Mag was OK tho some good articals. But all the crap that goes with it is what sucked.
Im geting a sub to Handloader Mag instead.

I was in it. They kept sending me books that I had to send back at my expense. Etc. etc. I wouldn't if I were you. But that's me.

Dave.

I got their magazines for a while in the '90's- pre internet. There were some good ideas, like a table on how to determine a deer's age by its teeth, and pictures of hunting gear. Lots of pictures of other guys and their animals. I made a deer drag by copying something for they were testing. But not much else I liked.

But I have to agree that I want to read the magazine, not read the junk mail. After a whole load of unsolicited come-ons, I cancelled.

They once sent me some flashy stickers, I stuck them on my PITA neighbours VW Van.
Thats the funniest thing I have ever heard, imagine them driving around with them everywhere...

Guys, if they send you books and stuff you don't ask for, just keep them..

They will send you nasty letters for a year or 2, and you can ignore those, too...:dancingbanana:

LOL :D Im not 100% sure but cant they send notice to the credit places if ya just keep all the books and stuff.
Not that keeping it all is a bad idea or anything.

Maybe, but you can also get that stuff bounced off your credit rating by providing a explanation about "unsolicited merchandise":p

I never really bother to look at a credit rating because it doesn't seem to be much of an issue if you have assets.:)

Charging you for unsolicited products is illegal. They can make all of the claims they want but if you do not ask for it, you do not have to pay for it.

In my business, some of our products are sold on spec and we get a good return of payment or product (doesn't cost them anything to return it) but if they choose to keep it, there is nothing I can do about it.
