North American Hunting Club

Funny... I was just going to start a thread about this.

Last night when I got home I found some #### from them in my mailbox... "We're looking for people to test hunting products!" Yeah... right, I'll keep the window decal of a nice buck though...

They probably got my info from Remington...

Yep, we are all so LUCKY to have been nominated to become members!!! WOOT!

Thank them for the free swag though.

I've been a member for years now. I enjoy the magazine it is well thought out
I've tested a couple of things too, A range finder holder a topo map that I custom tailored to my hunting area It is 24"X36" and of the waterproof paper
Lots of the stuff is cheap like the knives and crap but overall my experience has been a good one (knock wood):)

But sometimes I feel that I'm just funding Bill Millers African Safari's:rolleyes:

Annoying junk mail: NAHC, Bradford Exchange, Franklin Mint, Publisher's Clearing House, all "direct mail" type outfits ... send out 10,000 pieces and hope for a 2 percent return. They also sell "lists" to one another - and others. Mailbox "telemarketers"... right up there with the T.V. offers, K-Tel & Star-Frit stuff, Pocket Fisherman, and other pitches. The premise is that it costs "pennies" to raise dollars. Sorry for those that fall for it ... the benefit is not or rarely commensurate with the cost.

This doofus I know got a real cheesy vinyl jacket for becoming a life member... what a dolt... it looks like a ### figure skating costume.
hurry up and don't join now.....:slap:

I received mail from them recently for the first time recently. I wonder where they got my address. From a mailorder company I suspect.

I enjoyed the part of the letter where they said they only sent them to serious hunters. I wouldn't call myself a serious hunter. More like lighthearted.

I dunno guys, Im pretty happy with the Tikka T3's they have been sending me every two weeks.................

I'm not too sure what to do with the case of grenades they sent me - to test !?!?!?!.......lol

I went bunny hunting with a guy this weekend who had previously been scammed - they sent him heated socks to try in July!!!!! They wanted a response within 10 days! Not sure how he handled that..... He suggested the magazine was OK but that's it.

I'll save the junk they sent me to start a fire at the camp...
