should be no issue cycling all you have to do it work out the math of spring and bolt wright and gas needed to cycle it.
The issues is the ammo, with up to 150fps difference in many of the surplus ammo, an adjustable gas block is going to be needed.
as for mags, you can run around 12 to 15rds out of a straight 20rd colt type mag before the curve is needed to aid in the cycling of the ammo.
If some how it can be made to get 20rd mags to work, it would make a good little pdw for over seas work.
That is if the bolt face lasts.
