Just curious. Do you like them or not? Assuming you are not doing any competitive shooting that requires rapid mag changes, would you still want one on your gun?
I have average size hands but I like how they extend the grip if only a little (particularly the S&A type). I gravitate towards guns that have them, and if they don't, a magwell is usually the first thing I add. I was wondering why they are not more prevalent. I get the cost issue for less expensive models (though the SAM thunderbolt has them), but they are not stock items on many mid to high end guns, which is unfortunate it you want one that is properly blended. Was curious if there were drawbacks, or if you think it is more of an aesthetic issue (and not talking about speed shooting).
