Granlund firearms in Campbell River has a lot of the green tag, he has a crazy amount of 22lr, some super highend stuff thats 195 a brick(dont ask i dont know.lol) very small amount of the cheap bulk stuff, he just doesnt like it..lol, but as of this afternoon he had ton of the green tag stuff :)

Here are some on line 22 LR prices

CCI 22LR 40gr Green Tag, Box of 100 > $20.95 = $ 0.20 95 cents per round + Tax

CCI Standard Velocity , box of 50 > $6.99 = $0.14 cents per round + tax

22 LR - 36gr HP - Mini-Mag 100 rounds > $12.99 $0.13 cents per round /QUOTE]

I haven't seen green tag in over two years, who has some? I bought 2 555 packs every payday at Walmart for $21.47, then went up to $23 or24, then none, I still have some for my 1022 as it eats them like candy! A sleeve or two of green tag for my savage would be awesome!

I stopped in at CT in Bowmanville yesterday on a whim and boy was I glad I did lol. They were stocked right full of 22lr in the cabinet. After I was done fogging up the glass I got to talking with a guy who works in that section and he said they are going to carry the Aguila regularly now which is awesome because its good stuff. He also said they should have steady streams of it coming in because it gets shipped from mexico, but who knows how true that is. Now to the real exciting news lol. They actually had federal 525 bulk packs in stock and get this the price was $31. Needless to say I left with 4 bricks and 4 boxes of the Aguila standard velocity.

Just stopped in at both my Local Wal-Mart and CT. Nothing for .22 on the shelf.

I took a chance and thought I'd stop an employee at CT and ask if they had anything. Just by luck I stopped the manager and asked if he had any .22 in stock. He checked his computer and started laughing. All he had was Winchester 525's and they were on a truck that just pulled in priced at $48.50 a box. Turns out he's a shooter himself and was laughing because "His wife would kill him if he ever paid that price for a box .22"

Turns out although CT store managers get some leeway in their pricing, some prices are set by their head office and they have no choice to charge what they have too.

But on a positive note he did take my name and number and will call me (so he says) when they get some Federal 525's in (they're currently listed at $31.49 in his computer, so at that price I hope he calls soon :) ).

Some ####### bought all the $.06 a shot federal from my CT last night. Also bought a few boxes of the mexican stuff to try out. He made sure to leave all that super fancy brown box $.12 a round Winchester though.

What do you guys thing of the Win 333 fodder? My local CT has a few bricks. I will likely buy them tomorrow.
My fodder preference is American Eagle, but I can't find that stuff anywhere!
