Best bolt for the $$$???

That is what we discuss here exactly.
Someone is willing to pay more money and have rifle they want rather than pay little money and dont be satisfied with their choice.
Others people like to spend less on gun and not to worry about it.use it until it serve the purpose.
Some Winchester M70 or Tikka would be something that would caught some attention from threads.
Forgot to mention Savage,accurate like crazy but for some reason i was never fan of them,bolt kinda throws me off.
M70 again dont come with magazine compared to Tikka.
I just hate browning old magazine system but guns are great.
Some things like that are worth considering.
On the other hand for bit higher price range Sako would be my no.1 choice,just dependable and well made guns IMO again i talked for myself. Everyone has their own preference or love and dont like to insult anyone if dont mention their guns and no offence need to be taken. No one is here to offend anyone. Just discussion.
European and German mostly bolts are again well over some regular working man budget,
Good gun you dont buy everyday so if there is point in spending much more maybe some streching would be necessary but maybe possible.

No $$$ limit? Have a custom built by a competent gunsmith on a quality commercial Mauser action.

If a custom rifle is out of reach, its pretty hard to ignore the value of a Vanguard/Howa rifle. If you can afford a bit more, take a hard look at the CZ-550. It comes in a broad range of chamberings, and if you like full length wood, that can be had too. Although not everyone appreciates CRF actions, for those who do, the CZs are a lot of rifle for the money. Compare the features of a CZ with say a rifle from Montana Rifle, then compare the price.
I'm going to swim against the current here and say the Browning X-Bolt. Out of the box it's glass bedded, it's got a decent trigger, nice action, detachable magazine,
good accuracy, a good selection of OEM stocks to choose from, a broad selection of chambering's and the price is fairly reasonable. So if you want something you don't have to
tinker with, just scope it and go, I'd say the Browning X-Bolt is worth considering. Okay, flame away guys, I've got my Nomex covies on.

Depends on the tensile strength required on the project then.
Maybe Grade 8, but don't buy them from Finning.

Kind of obvious to most of us, but apparently not to everyone.
If I were searching for the best bang for the buck I'd look for a used Rem. 700 in good condition and a good price. You can get a great shooting gun for not too much money and more after market options than you can count when and if you want to upgrade it.

The OP's is a little ambiguous on certain points. He doesn't really specify whether it can be new, or used, but I just assume he means new.
Then he states "without some custom made orders." and I wonder if he means "something that needs no customization," but I'm not at all sure.

Well, that's my theory and I'm sticking to it.
Very diplomatic, very tactful, but let's just face it...the original post reads like an instruction manual from a Norinco firearm, or maybe a cheap Taiwanese electronic gadget. Everybody reads it and interprets it differently. Then, if the same person reads it three times, he gets three different interpretations of his own! No wonder we have 57 conflicting answers. There's 57 conflicting questions in there!
I think that even the Chinese would have difficulty making any sense of it.
