Anyone with any idea? All the numbers seem to match - bolt handle, receiver wrist, and mag...

Doesn't have the usual stamps, or a date.

Looks like an Indian refurbed No5 to me. Scrubbed socket and receiver, mixed parts, RFI stamped components.

Interesting. Guess it's refurbished by th e RFI as per an earlier comment. What would something like this be worth?

Definetely India re-furb (Rifle Factory India) and with the through-bolt. Probably a good "blaster", but zero collector value. Probably do better trading it for something, but if someone offers either side of $300 you might want to grab it.
Just my opinion.

bolt is not a No5 bolt either. the bolt handle on a No5 bolt is drilled out. numbers can be stamped, and i might be wrong, but don`t think the No5 had a numbered mag. they may have, but mine did not have a numbered mag when it was unwrapped from its packing paper a little over 25 years ago.
