looking for a revolver in 45, ant recommendations & opinions from you guys would be appreciated! also where to buy it would help, i'd rather support a site sponsor buy my search is coming up dry...

I would recommend a S&W Performance Center 625. These are out there if you're persistent and willing to pay.
Mines on the Never Sell List and one of my fav HG's….

Ruger has a 45ACP Redhawk. One dealer already said it'd be at least a year.

I've a few big bore Smiths. Fun guns.
Unless you've got a burning desire for moon clips, or don't reload, 45 Colt Model 25 is more common and more versatile than 45 ACP
 
Any revolver chambered in .45LC can be machined to accept .45ACP in moon-clips.

People have been doing it for many years.

The only downside is that you can sometimes get "light strikes" that don't set off the primer.
That's because you're only head-spacing on the moon-clip, which can flex a little bit.

A true .45ACP revolver will head-space on the mouth of the cartridge, just like a semi-auto pistol does.
