My first fawn of the year

Spotted this little guy last Sunday. Mama and junior crossed the road ahead of us into a field, but for some reason, doubled back.

Saw my first one today, being chased down the road by a fisher. I split them up and the fawn ran into the bush a couple hundred yards down the road. Hope the fawn and doe are reunited soon.

You wouldn't think that camo pattern on a fawn works as well as it does....they are very hard to see when you dont know they are there.

Saw a doe with three in tow... Good too see around here, they've been having rough years..

I saw an odd sight the other day on my way to work. I regularly see deer on my road and the road I take into town however this time was a doe and two fawns. First time I've seen two little ones together. It's almost always too foggy to take a picture though and in ontario I'd have to be legally parked to use my phone. I almost stopped to just sit and watch them. They were hanging out just on the other side of the ditch from me.

Whitetail and moose generally always have twins.
