So went to the range this morning without checking the range online events calendar. Im so phucking pissed right now...

At least this time it wasn't a bunch of dudes dressed up like cowboys... lol...

You live on Vancouver island. For the two years I lived there, there were a total of 20 days I wasn't on the bike... and not a single day I wouldn't spend at the range.

Forgive me if I don't cry for you ;)
 
Well even with this rifle i'm still a horrible shooter. LOL... But I did have a lot of fun shooting today, Most fun I had with my clothes on for a very long time. I got some nice 3 shot groups then bam! The guy behind the gun ruined the 4th and 5th shot .lol...

I finally experienced mirage at 200 yards for the first time ever, and the Sun is in your face all day long at that range unfortunately. Not making excuses but next time I will try a nice cloudy day instead. And I need to find some better ammo...

Such a nice rifle and such crappy ammo !
Get reloading or at least try some federal gmm.

Nice! I'm sure you enjoyed your first day at the range, after the long wait! :)

Can you describe how it feels shooting this nice rifle? How's the trigger? Recoil? Etc.

I agree you need to get into reloading to really see what she's capable of.

Off topic... I like the reloading targets you used. Where did you get them? It would be nice to have something like that for testing my reloads.
 
Nice shooting! Makes me wish my rifle was here already... still trying to get a ETA on when my rifle is getting shipped.

Makes me wish I had some of my Federal Gold Medal Match stash here in Victoria... would have gladly traded a few boxes for a few shots lol.

That muzzle break looks intense!
