Reason I ask is a good friend of mine is coming up to my place next weekend, and he's bringing all his toys for what will DEF be a weekend to remember. And one in particular that has peaked my interest is he told me has a Barrett 338. As SOON as he told me that this was the type of rifle that is deadly accurate to 1500m :O so of course NOW I'm just foaming at the mouth to get my right index finger on this baby to see what it can do. Anyone have any fun with these bad boys? Pics to show? I'm curious. What should I expect?

Traditionally I finger-diddle them every year at Shot Show.
Barrett's are premium guns with premium pricetags, and while the MRAD series might not have the raw ### appeal of their bigger brothers they're still a hell of a gun.
Depending on who you are, the .338 Lapua is deadly accurate out to 2,707 yd.

Wow ! ! ! Damn that's a nice gun. the one that you added, is that one yours? I like the tan color. I thought the range was 2000m max....guess I was wrong. Looking at the tip of that rifle. Can you add a muzzle brake on that one? I can't wait to fire my buddy's this weekend. I also know that the rounds are around $7.00 ea ! ! ! DEF don't want to "plink" too much w this baby huh
