I use that powder exclusively. I find it to be more than accurate enough for hunting purposes. I load it in .223, 7.62x39mm (when I'm not Mexican Matching), .30-30, .303Br, .308, and .30-06. I have found it tops out at the .30-06 for heavy bullets. I have used it for .300WM, but it didn't perform well using far too much powder to get a reduced load performance. So, since I don't own anything chambered in the cartridge, I don't have to stock any other rifle powders.
Note: I was given 5 lbs of 3031 a few years ago. Coincided with my wife getting a .243 and I have used that to build coyote loads for her. Not that she shoots them, since my coyote hunting is done mostly in the winter, when she likes being by the fire.
