This is a different approach to the.22 threads we usually see.
Instead of showing off your cache of rim fires or complaining about a shortage, this thread will be dedicated to help people find.22 in their area. If you see some for sale, please be kind and pass along the info to our fellow shooters.

I will start.

I was in P and D in Edmonton today. They had a great selection of .22lr. The "Shortage" seems to be over in this area.

Conversely,..I am looking for bulk packs of Remington Yellowjackets or CCI Velocitors (Hollowpoint) if anyone can steer me in the right direction. P and D had the 100 packs of yellowjackets but for $15 plus for 100 rounds I took a pass.
 
Lol CT just raised their prices.
If you look at the tag. It was 29.99 for 375 rounds.
If you didnt look at your receipt. The new price is 34.99 for 300 not 375.

Wow that's ridiculous! Managed to pick up a box of 333 at LeBaron in Mississauga for just under $20 and even thought twice about that price!
 
Plenty available around The Valley. The price however... Makes me wish I'd bought A LOT more 555 at 19.99 last year.
 
$4.99 for 40 american eagle 36 grain hollowpoints, and 5.99 for 50 federal 40 grain at wholesale south in Edmonton. A pile was still available today
 
Or this thread could have the opposite effect, and simply be an information source for the shelf clearer's and hoarders.

Same stuff available at CT windsor walker road location, they had lots (over 50 box) along with every other brand of 22 you could think of
 
Ammo at Canadian Tire Aurora? Wow...things must be changing. They sell Tavors in the Canadian Tire in Calgary. In Aurora? BB guns, and dusty old..over-priced ammo that looks like it's been sitting there for 20 years. Mostly empty shelves. Not sure what's up with Canadian Tire, and who decides what stores carry what.

Canadian tire is a franchise, so from what I understand, owners have a certain amount of independence in terms of what they carry and how they run the business.
 
Federal 525rd value packs available at the new Canadian Tire in Edmonton for $31.49. Seem to have lots on hand.

P&D has some good stuff CCI AR tactical in stock. Not cheap at $35 for 300 but good for the sa.
 
For people in the Georgian Bay Ontario area, Owen Sound CT has a shelf full of Winchester super x 500 for $59.99 and if that is too expensive for your blood, look on the bottom shelf and you will find Federal Targets 300 for $26. A little expensive but there is none in Collingwood and Cabelas Barrie has a restriction on the amount you could buy. Happy hunting.
