So I have had my Coyote for a couple of weeks now and to say the least I am impressed. .5 or less MOA groups at 100m are frequent, but I did not buy this rifle to shoot at 100m so have been waiting to share my results. Below are my first 2 targets at 700 and 800M while I was getting my zeros. Promising and have yet to work up my longer distance load. Forgive my poor photo skills the 800M target is a little over 3.5 inches.

700M A little over 3.2 inches

It also seems very good WRT fouling, certainly nothing compared to a factory barrel. How often have you been cleaning yours?

After barrel break-in, I have 275 shots down the pipe. I won't clean it until the groups open up. I'll let you know in my Coyote thread when that occurs.

Nice shooting, plz post a pic of your Coyote, that will help me wait for mine...

I tought the barrel was already breaked-in when you receive it ?!?!

Man I really need to stop reading these coyote threads!

I already have a Cadex rifle on the way... I might need to sell a few toys to add a coyote as well!

Nice shooting!

Still getting used to the rifle. Shot my first PR match with that rifle and except for a miss feed on a snap match it performed flawlessly and that was likely caused by my babying bolt manipulation.

I went with the a5 as well. Very happy that I did. Just feels right and solid. Probably should have gone with a pic rail so I could have installed an LRA bipod although the Harris has worked fine so far. Will probably send it back to have a rail installed after the competition season is over.

I'm sure both stock are awesome but for me it was a no brainer.

Its also very easy to install a rail with the anschutz system. I only need an adaptor.
For now I will stick with my MPOD bipod. Maybe in the future I will buy something else but for now I must spend my cash on something else.
What I really need is a better rear bag.

Absolutely. I was pretty happy. Fairly comfortable with the A5 stock from previous experience and the Shilen trigger. It is a pretty forgiving rifle and it was a perfect day.
