Just got a Rifled barrel for my Remengtion Express, wondering which slug seems to work well for hunting? These look interesting?

Each shotgun barrel is an individual, even those within a single manufacturer, and each will have a preference for a specific load. Your best option is to purchase a variety of slugs, test them, and use the ones that produce the best balance or accuracy and terminal performance out to the maximum range that you intend to shoot.

Exactly. Take a couple of boxes and see which ones fire the best. What works really good for your buddy may not be the best one for you. You have to try them.

Ammo or for reloading? If you're not reloading, you'll have to try a box of as many brands as you can to find the ammo your shotgun shoots best.

I have used the 2 3/4" Hornady 300g SST's for a number of years now. They grouped well out my 870 Express Magnum 12 gauge using both 20" and 23" rifled barrels. They group even better from my A Bolt 12 guage. I took 2 deer with them this past fall with the A Bolt, one shot each at about 70 yards. Both deer ran off but were found within 70-80 yards of where they were when shot. Both were lung shots, one went through and through, the other didn't exit but piled up next to the hide. At 300 grains the bullet is lighter than most of the other sabots. It is very effective and hasn't got much felt recoil.

In the past I also used and had great success with the 2 3/4" Remington Copper Solids n my 870. They are 1 oz I believe and have much more felt recoil. I also tried the 2 3/4" Winchester 385g Partition Gold sabots in the 870. They did not group at all well in either barrel so I never hunted with them. I have several boxes of the 2 3/4" Remington 385g Premier Accutip but haven't tried them yet.

The 2 3/4" Copper Solids were an unpleasant range trip due to the recoil so I've never tried a 3" sabot. Based on the success I've had with 2 3/4" shells I'm not sure there is much to gain with a 3".

As already suggested, the best route will be to experiment with a variety of ammo brands. Having said that, saboted slugs are expensive too plus there is the factor of felt recoil from a 12ga. Therefore, you may perhaps consider starting with Rem Accutips. Reviews indicate the Accutips generally perform very well out of rifled barrel slug guns.

Based on personal experience with several Savage 220s and one HR USH this particular brand shot 1 inch groups at 100 yards.

A cantilevered barrel if that is what you have will better serve to enhance the accuracy performance.
