So I decided to bubba my Glock

My Glock 19 , I repeat MY GLOCK 19 , has become my favourite pistol despite some ergos that I thought were not the greatest. I've been poring through Glock mods all over the forums and love what Salient Arms have been doing to Glocks big time but I'm not willing to drop 800$ in mods on a 700$ pistol. I decided I'd do it myself. So I used a dremel to relief cut the back of the trigger guard to allow a higher purchase on the pistols and took out some of the underside of the trigger guard also to allow a more comfortable support hand grip. I've also stippled the underside of the trigger guard and small patches on the side of the frame to improve grip. Turned out pretty good I think and only took me a couple hours.

A little deeper on the undercut then I would have gone but it looks good! Might as well stipple that grip as well.

Thanks All ! It dose serve its purpose, really helps me properly index my support hand and gives way better traction. Also raises my fingers on my strong hand a quarter of a inch which makes a world of difference in how much better control it gives. I honestly thought I'd mostly get flamed seeing how people get upset about stippling and such.
Thanks for all the kind words

One thing about the Canadian version of the Glock 19, you can't bubba it worse. Just kidding, nice job. It improves the looks, IMO.

I really went by feel and went slow , constantly " trying it out for size" and feeling for what would be hot spots.
I have rather large hands.
I've ordered some grip tape Talon grips , give those a shot first before stippling the entire grip.

Custom fit ..... :)
A snap on beavertail might help if your web is getting close to the bottom of the slide and they look pretty good to me.

Too late !!!! Wtf ! I think I love stippling , today was my first go at it and it do have some Talon grips on the way but that soldering iron was just calling to me lol , here's the first panel. Decided to go with a design. Had my wife print it off for me and I traced it on with a # 2 pencil. I'm happy with how it turned out. More to come :)

that's a good job! I just don't have the patience for it lol.

that looks awesome! Although I would have just thinned out the entire rear portion of the trigger guard myself. not a fan of the trigger boob look, but I love the punisher skull.

Looks great guys. Question tho. The part of the trigger gaurd that was shaved down. Is it Going to be weak now? Cause it looks super thin now. What are you guys using to stipple?

The trigger guard is still really stiff , not sure how "strong " you need a trigger guard to be. I don't plan on trying to drive nails into boards with it but I can press into it till my knuckles are white and still solid. As long as it does what it's supposed to do , as in keep things that aren't fingers off the trigger I'm happy. Using a soldering iron to stipple
