


A couple people asked me about accuracy of my Ruger 10/22 with a heavy barrel. By no means am I a marksman... but here's what I managed today with a strong wind down range.
The 1st target was shot at about 25 yards. The 2nd target was about 50 yards. On the first target, absolutely, the two outliers are my fault. Ten rounds in each target.
I shot with the bi pod of the gun on the table... a rest would have been better I suppose.
Anyways, I'm pleased with the results. Absolutely, there are more accurate .22 rifles. I used Federal bulk ammo.
Again, make no mistake, there are far more accurate .22's at longer distances than this 10/22 set up. I like it because it is stable and easy to shoot. The Kidd match trigger is a thing of beauty.
