so who has upgraded their Tikka T3 to a bell and carlson stock? is it the same size overall as the factory stock? same drop in comb and cheek piece height? would love to see a side by side comparison of the two stocks so I can decide if it is what I am after, may just have to get a strap on cheek piece for the factory stock if the overall dimensions are near the same........

My two were 32 and 33 ounces respectively. About the same weight as the wood hunter stock and around 8-9 oz heavier than the black synthetic. They are a reasonably priced gigantic improvement over the OEM stocks but have slightly different dims in the wrist and forend. I'd love a McMillan Edge but not waiting close to a year to get one, or spending $1k either.

A while back, I purchased a custom 375 Chatfield Taylor from Super Cub. Part of that deal included a second stock, a Bell & Carlson. I 'believe'
if I remember dorrectly, both stocks were fitted and sights were added by guntech

Haven't tried the B&C stock, yet as I much prefer the wood look, even as in this case, it's a laminate. I will give the B&C a 'try' one day though.

Correction:
The stock in the second photo is one by Bell & Carlson, the laminate in the first photo, a Boyds.

I'd like to be able to get a *different* stock, not the same stock in different materials. Say a Weatherby/California/Monte Carlo for a Tikka.
