I have a couple cooey model 60's (for the kids and my wife) I love them. Great guns.

they all have aged ok but often require tinkering to get right.

I have one who occasionaly gets a round jammed in the magazine.

The tube is soldered so the only way to get the round out is to ram something down the tube with a lot of force. It will cycle fine for maybe 30-40 rounds then one will get lodged in the tube. (close to the solder joint)

I don't think the tube is bent could I harm anything by shoving a dowel rod down the tube with some polishing paste I figure there is a bit of solder causing interference.

if you're really lucky you may have a cleaning rod or arrow shaft that fits the tube closely but not too tight- that may take the squish out- my 60 has a pin just ahead of the knurled knob- drive out the pin, the knob comes off, and out comes the spring and follower= or get a new inner tube- 2 other solutions- 1 smith- 2 if you're handy with a torch or soldering gun/iron just melt and re-solder- or you can get a piece of welding rod that fits fairly tight , clamp the tube in a vise( not so hard as you squish it) LUBE THE ROD , and drive that in with a hammer-you want to "stretch" the tube, but not so much as it binds on the outer tube( in the rifle-)the rod needs to be just a tad larger than a 22 case rim- take a 22 case with you when you go to ct and match it that way- your dowel may shatter in the tube and you don't want that
