Gen 2 glock abuse

I need some help here guys. Every time I saw people putting bubba to their gen 2 glocks I used to cringe. But now I've got one and this things been through the ringer, finish wise that is. The grip is about as slick as it gets and the slide finish is so worn.
So now I'm on the fence. I really love the work black box customs is doing out of CSC, but still can't decide if I should go through with it and get them to redo my gen 2.

I need help. Keep it original or bubba the piss out of it.

If you're worried about hurting resale value, don't let that bother you. It hasn't got any. It seems nobody (except me) prefers gen 2 guns to the newer models. Mod it to your hearts content.

i find it funny when people get all concerned about what they think other people will think about their guns.
if i want something on one of my guns i do it.
its my gun!

that said i dont ever sell my guns so i dont have to answer to anyone for mistakes i make (perceived mistakes!)

i say do it brother, get in Cerakote hot pink with bright pearl white accessories and a My Little Pony laser etched into it!
