Desert Tech Coming to Canada!

Haven't the SRS rifles always been available in Canada? I remember looking to buy the SRS covert .308 last year from another site sponsor.

Not really.
They were bringing them in, but not in any kind of quantity. Availability was poor at best.

Make sure you bring up parts for the DTA SRS. The factory butt pad is know for 2 of the plastic ears breaking off. They have replacement aluminum ones for warranty exchange if you live in the U.S. but a pain to get into Canada and they want you to send the original back. That's where you come in. Is SFRC the new canadian distributor for Desert Tech or just a retailer?

Hopefully a new canadian distributor has been found as the old one was impossible to deal with and did not stock any inventory.

Also wondering where to order a replacement buttpad for the srs. Ordered one thru Border view and tried having them import, it never showed up. They're saying Desert Tech has been hard to deal with the past few months. Getting the screw around by desert tech saying they won't ship to Canada. Cant really get a straight answer from anyone here either. I'm sceptical of buying anything more Desert tech unless theres some support here in Canada. Any info appreciated, pm or post if anyone has answers please.

These will be coming to Canada some time this summer...let me know what you think. They aren't cheap...they start about $6700 and go up from there but they are an awesome gun.
