Well, it was a scorcher out today, and had a bit of a squirrelly breeze to make it a challenge.
Took several rimfires out to see how they would shoot at 100M. [Suhl, 40X, M37, 541T, 541S, 52C, CZ 452 American]
Despite the unpredictable wind, these all performed as expected. The Suhl, 40x and 37 all turned in 5 shot groups under ½moa.[.38 - .44"]
the 52C, the 541T and the 541S made groups between .55" and .65". The CZ was slightly larger, but still acceptable at .76" to .91"
Never ceases to amaze me how much difference ammo can make on a rimfire. [none of the ammo used today was "bulk" of any ilk.]
Need to get ready for a BR match, so will try a few more groups later when it cools a bit. [hopefully]
Cheers, Dave.
