Hi guys and gals. So I recently traded a henry ar7 for a savage mark II fvsr with the 16 inch bull barrel. I put just a cheapy simmons 22 mag scope on it with the adjustments for yardage ect. After quickly bore sighting it by pulling the bolt and adjusting the scope at about 35 yards I then took a shot and couldn't believe how close it was, about half inch out! So 2 clicks and a couple more shots it was putting holes through holes at 35 yards. I then backed up to 50 yards and adjusted the scope and still same thing. Holes through holes and a half inch grouping at 75 yards. I could not believe what I was seeing. The rifle was brand new never fired. No mods nothing done to it. So basically it is the most accurate 22 I have ever shot. Tree rats had better look out!!! Lol also this was not using a bench rest. I was resting my elbow on my knee from a sitting position so that just shows how bang on it really is. So for about 400 bucks depending where you look you can get a extremely accurate 22 for plinking or hunting. I can't wait to shoot it again!
