Shorten PAL Approval Times

June 19 - My first Reference was contacted and interview completed
June 19/29 - Second reference received letter today from RCMP dated June 19 (she gave me the wrong cell# for her) asking her to call them.
June 29 - go online and see message "Your application has been processed and your licence has been issued. If you have not received your licence within 2 weeks please contact the Canadian Firearms Program Toll Free number. (1-800 731-4000)"

So total time 35 days or 25 weekdays/10 weekend days, which I think for Ontario is pretty good. I never even got called or called them so I can't provide any additional suggestions for improving PAL/RPAL times.

You're in Ontario and took u 35 days? took Amol and I nearly two months and we're both in ontario....
 
Called CFC yesterday, told me my application approved and wait for card making, but I saw online status is still same as before, so I confused. If anyone has same situation as me?

they posted it was issued on the 24th minutes after talking to them.. 8 days to my door including the weekend and Canada day so that's pretty good imo
 
PAL to RPAL upgrade.

May 14 Received at Miramichi
May 27 Faxed course results
June 04 Visa Charged
June 05 Application online
Called every week for reference interview but was not ready
June 28 reference interviewed
July 03 Changed status to issued after 6pm

So excited for my first handgun
