VZ 58 night sight worth buying or a waste of money

I bought a set. They looked cool I guess, but they didnt help with shooting. You also cannot change the muzzle brake if you want to attach the front sight. As we really cant use the gun outside in the night *legally* I would recommend spending the money on more ammo

The surplus vz. 58 night sights are rather large and crude. They offer an imprecise sight picture that requires charging (expose them to light). They're meant to lay down covering fire but I wouldn't use them for target shooting or hunting.

I can't remember if they have tritium in them or not but if they do the half-life is long over.

We used to sale them for $9.84 do not pay $40 for them someone is really gouging for them

I always thought they were more of a novelty than anything, perhaps for the people who collect all the Czech military accessories for these rifles.

I have a set from Corwin, they are pretty good. Not worth $40 tho
