Anybody ever have issues with it not zeroing or just wildly fluctuating? Mine has been super solid until today. It'll settle at a zero when I tare it with nothing on it but as soon as I place the pan or anything on it, it just fluctuates wildly and way over-reads for things of known value. Tried calibrating it numerous times. Emailed Myweigh through their website but yet to hear back. Pemberton is smoked out right now and I was hoping to just sit in the garage and load ammo... sigh
Some tips and tricks is to ensure there are no electronic devices that would interfere with the scale eg. laptop, cell phones, some florescent light bulbs, cordless phones etc. Ferrite cores, (little snappy things around wires that look like magnets) help with some magnetic interference. Allow the scale to warm up at lease 24hrs also I notice the air has been very dry as well so static maybe an issue. Just some thoughts.
Heard back from Myweigh customer service and they suggested calibrating it without the metal "plate" on it. Said sometimes it causes errors. Seemed strange to me but it worked so I guess I'll just do without that plate from here on out. They did offer to have me send it in if that didn't work as well. Pretty happy with their cs!
