10/22 extended aluminium mag release

Whos trolling now?
Have you tried a pws lever?
Again my thoughts are....... no.

Yeah I own one. I can see what TW25B is talking about rather than being arrogant maybe you should try learning to accept differing opinions than your own. The internet probably isnt going to be a very nice place to you if you don't learn this simple skill.

As for the original topic, YMMV with the T3 depending on your set-up and personal preference/hand size.

My point exactly. I also found the two I had fit a little loose in the trigger groups which drove me crazy, a mag release with some free play/slack.

How do you guys like the legit extended mag release? I've got the stubby extended one. It's nice but the long one could be cool.

Opinions? Ease of use?

Where did you get the cheap one from? I like cheap.

Tactical Solutions anodized aluminum awesomeness!

Not cheap, but I love mine. Just the slightest movement of your second finger.

This one is a Chinese knock off, that cost me $4.72 to my door. It needed some to work to fit it around the slide lock to start out. Then later when I set it up in the ATI stock, it didn't fit with a pistol grip. I cut it, then bent it out so it is an easy move with the trigger finger or second finger.

Legit:

Not legit:

Sorry, didn't realize that was directed to me. The legit works fantastic, very easy to actuate with a simple extension of the 2nd finger. Also very easy to get a full range of motion, so the release is completely clear of the mag, and that much smoother dropping the mag free. They are not cheap, but I think they are worth every penny. The Tactical Solutions model showing in the legit photo dropped in for a perfect fit. No wobble or free play, and no 'fitting' required. It does somewhat impede access to the bolt lock, but still manageable.

For the record the 'non legit' worked just as good in a rifle stock as the legit does. The initial problem that it didn't fit was easily fixed with dremmel and some black paint. Once fitted around the slide lock, no more problems. When I bought the ATI stock and went to pistol grip, I considered replacing it with one of the PWS but decided against it when I tried my friend and it was a sloppy fit. I cut that cheapo off, bent it down, and bent it to the right, so it sticks out passed the trigger guard like a PWS. It works great for a pistol grip, same action as the rifle stock, plus I can use the trigger finger too.

TANGENT - The paint was never finished after bending it, because that gun never got finished. I put part of it back together just for the photo. It will get painted and re-assembled once it's new barrel arrives this week. So excited, it's the very first gun I ever bought, and has been in pieces for years.
