Anyone else pick up their Colt Canada stripped lower yet?

Well that suck donkey balls, I dont care so much about the IUR, But I really wanted to use it as well on my IOP gun.

Guess Ill have to keep the SA15.7 on that one...

Just saw on the Odell facebook page that more stripped lowers are being sold, The only downside is you have to buy an IUR to get one...

That sucks, IUR aren't selling as well as they would have hoped so now they are forcing you to buy it... lol..

Shiet. Ah well, I bought the IUR so I could build a rifle and shoot it. Obviously I'd rather have a colt Canada lower attached, but for the price difference I will just keep my Anderson arms lower on there and order more green tips to run through it.

Well, I received my lower today and comparing it side by side with my SA20 and my IUR... it is gray. I decided to apply a very generous coat of gun oil and let it all soak up for about 5 min. After wiping the excess oil off, I found the receiver looking just like my SA20! These stripped lowers seem to really absorb oil, so just to be on the safe side, I recoated the receiver and will now leave it overnight.

Very happy that these became available.

What type of oil? Just gun oil or something else? Got before and after pics?
