About 7-8 weeks ago I was agonizing over choosing between a Colt Model 357 from the mid 50's and a Trooper MK V. After much back and forth I ended up going with the 357. I was in contact with the seller a few days ago about another gun and it turned out the Trooper was still available. I made an offer and it turns out I now own both. I guess some things are meant to be ;)

I don't know a whole lot about the MK V other than what I've read on coltfever.com but I like the looks.

It was my understanding things came in three's?
Maybe yuh dint ask nuff questions?

Cool find.

Thanks......Things did actually end up coming in threes. When I was trying to decide between the Trooper and the 357 it was to go along with a S&W Model 1917 that i was also buying from the same seller at the time. Getting this Trooper makes it three.;)

Great picks. You do have good taste in revolvers. The Trooper Mk 5 is one of my favorites; I had been looking for one for years before I found one; they weren't that common in Canada.

With your luck that good, you should get some lottery tickets.

Thanks guys....I really don't have any sort of master plan for collecting. I just seem to be acquiring interesting (at least to me) guns as I come across them. I think I actually prefer it that way. Instead of trying to hunt down a such and such the next purchase always comes as a bit of a surprise.

Yup, just go with the flow and see what crosses your path. I'm in envy of the 1917. I'd love to find a nice one. Seen a less nice one, but the money is a bit high.
