A friend of mine has offered to sell me his CZ 858 AFTER it is deemed non-restricted again. He says he's not taking the chance on it happening again.
He has the conversion kit for it as well so you can shoot 22LR.
He said he would give me a hell of a deal.
What would you fine folks consider a hell of a deal?

700$ max without the .22 conversion I'm soooo sick of seeing these on EE for 1000$

Not sure what the conversion kit is worth

They were going on the EE for about $700 or so before the reclassification. Prices of everything have gone up since then though so maybe $800ish? Also, your friend sounds like kind of a pussy. :)

I sold mine while there was a shortage for $1500 each (that is what was offered, never listed them)

Bottom line, It is worth what you are willing to pay

1000$ is too much, 800$ is too much. A used firearm bought for 699$ when brand new was an ok deal with 4 mag, mag holster, bayonet and scabbard, cleaning kit, sling, test target etc..... People think 1200$ + is a deal. It's only a deal if I'm a rat fink idiot with ZERO Google skills and no perception of money or how much they cost before. Just because someone had theirs armacoated means sh!t to me.

i cant picture them going for any cheaper than a $1000 with the less then equal csa selling at that price.
maybe more get imported... but with todays market they would most likely be even more then a csa.

It is likely that their value will only increase due to Wolverine moving onto the 958 and the relative value of the CSA guns. Buy at 700 (or less) and take care of it and you may see profit in your future.

Also, get new friends. This guy sounds like a gutless loser that is afraid to stand up for something.

Brand new these were $700 with 4 mags...my buddy got his from wolverine with 8mags for that price...
These fools that think they've gone up in value are ridiculous. These aren't "rare" or "extinct"
Pay what you will, but I'd rather not.

So how much is a unfired one worth? There will be a strong demand for it as it is probably the last unfired one of its kind.

I doubt there will be "strong demand" for these rifles... they are what they are. The classification nonsense won't affect price or change demand very much.

Swiss Arms will go up in value, but that's simply due to the Canadian dollar and lack of supply. It has also always been a higher demand rifle.

Well I got my 858 for 499.00 plus taxs at Wild West in west Edmonton mall a few years back for complete kit 4 mags sling bayonet and cleaning kit and it was new in box

OK then............. what's a CZ858 worth that was never affected by the reclassification & is still classified as completely NR & legal? I know there aren't many of them out % wise so they must be worth a premium? They're the only ones you can shoot right now I believe.

A hell of a deal?
The $400 I paid for mine, and it wasn't even a named reclassed

lol I picked up one about a year before the reclass. Average condition, defintely used but plenty of life left in her.
4 mags, original stock and folding stock with the bayonet for $400.

There's two types of people selling guns on the EE; smart people who sell used items at used item prices who actually sell guns and dumb a**es that have to keep typing "BTT" over and over and over.......
