Cz/vz are nice , but sometimes I think the SKS is a more workable platform .
How many SKS have had problems( the same thing / problems)... over and over again.
Have to admit the SKS's are tanks. A seriously though rifle. In some ways I think they are even slightly more rugged than an AK.
The CZ/VZ certainly has had a couple issues over the years.
SKS just keeps chugging along though....................
Have they become a licensed CGN Dealer since the last time you hotlinked their product? Finally the seven six two mag release system is up for sale on their site check it out w ww.sevensixtwosystems.com
this looks very promising and a worthwhile upgrade IMHO

Far from stock, far from bubba but really useful upgrades imo.
Basically it allows you to use regular tapco or similar mags with or without the duckbill, thus allowing you to change mags with the same ergonomics as a ak rifle without having to break the grip of your trigger control hand.
It also allows you to sort out stoppages as rare as they may be with a sks lol, and using the tapco mags without the duck bill you can fit them into mag pouches for 3 gun and such if so desired . It also needs no mods to your rifle itself just replace the existing mag catch and install the front spacer if you wish to mod your mags. And its ambidexterous mag release like a AK ,so basically they have turned every sks into a d model but using regular and plentiful mags.
ACTUALLY ITS COMPLETLEY DIFFERENT heres a link to their page for the video www .sevensixtwosystems.comThis sounds a lot like the G3 system which has been in production for some time.
We should have some available by early August at a very nice price.
They will work very nicely with our new extended mag release system for the SKS.
Not sure about hical but I have 100 of my new extended mag releases for the SKS in hand and almost ready to sell. The first 50 will be offered at a door crashing $39.95 and will go up to $49.95ACTUALLY ITS COMPLETLEY DIFFERENT heres a link to their page for the video www .sevensixtwosystems.com
its smooth just like a d model without the price tag the nice part it works in any standard sks even a Chinese , mags are cheaper than ak mags and readily available .
the release is not extended its ak like in function so no re positioning of your trigger control hand = less fumbeling around during mag changes .
Hical whats the price of the G3 adapter and the cost of your extended mag release ?

Is this a do it yourself drop in magazine adaptor or is there filing and fitting issues
The G9 requires extensive fitting, while the G3 is much simpler to install. See my post above for details on each.
