Mike, have you applied for access to the equipment exchange?
with a trader rate of five it would appear so.
Place a WTB advert there and see what comes up.
Dealers snoop through there from time to time as well.
thats as about as helpfull as i can be at this time.

there seems to still be some problems with Remington Marlins. The Forum Marlin Owners shows some marlins in 45-70 with Receiver cracks and some barrels with mag. tube reliefs so deep you can see the barrel threads.

Just picked one up today at Can Tire for $699. Didn't think that was too bad considering what other stores are selling them for.
