Curious how many hunters have a safe full of rifles from the same manufacturer or do most "pick and choose" from all manufacturers.

In conversation during the "dog days" of summer, opinion amongst my hunting partners was mixed. One guy is a "Browning man" to the core, only Browning rifles and shotguns. The other has a mix of different manufacturers.

I've tried many and sold the ones I didn't like.... More trial and error then brand loyal here. Now I know what brands offer what I like, and what I don't like, but that doesn't mean every "brand x" rifle is going to be great.... Every major manufacturer has put out a steaming pile if #### at one time or another lol

I'm a Ruger fan in my centerfire rifles... still have a couple M70's and CZ 527/550's, but mostly M77's... just have alot of confidence in the platform... and the standard Ruger stock profile fits me to a tee... I had over 50 Ruger rifles at one time, but I am down to a dozen in downsizing the collection.

Nope not a chance I'll give my money to 1 brand, I buy according to the item I need and try and get best bang for the buck with the price I'm willing to pay

I have a mix. Lots of brands have interesting offerings, and I haven't found any single brand to be so universally superior as to warrant exclusive brand loyalty.

Feels like a loaded question that could get ugly really quick lol
Personally I'm a Savage guy myself, I've been using them for approx 19 years now and I swear by their barrels!

I have a real soft spot for Remington pumps in all calibers, but also have many other firearms from various manufactures that I really like.
Mostly older rifles, as the brand new one don't really interest me much due to quality, in my opinion.

Although I have a bunch of Glocks, I wouldn't say I am exclusive. I buy for specific features etc, but after my experience with a few guns I have some manufactures I won't buy again. And then there's Mossberg, who won't see another dime of my money for that stupid 715 cluster f-...

Not me, I started out collecting Winchesters, then slowly added other brands, now I have a varied collection from all over the world.
There are just too many great guns available to just be limited to one type.

Not me either, Savage, Weatherby, Mossberg, Marlin, Winchester and a couple Russian milsurps. If I could afford a browning there would be one of those too

I've owned more Rem 700's than anything else but I have quite a mixture of brands here in centerfires. About 6 or 8 700's (I'd have to count them, too many anyway), four Sakos, 5 Win M70's (all Pre'64's) a Ruger and a Marlin lever in 375 Win.

I've been all over the map over the years with Brnos, Parker Hales, Mossbergs & Smith & Wessons (Howa 1500's), Vanguards, A-Bolts, Mark V's etc., etc.

No brand loyalty here. I like them all.

I think by getting stuck on a particular brand you miss a lot of the experience that comes from owning, tinkering with and shooting a lot of different rifles.

Sako and Anschutz with a few others, almost all European. Most American stuff is too cheaply made and QC is to erratic to suit me. I do have a few Rugers and Marlins that are OK.

If I had the $ I'd have one of everything! For the most part I've decided to stick with the main manufactures of bolt-action hunting style rifle, but that doesn't mean I'll pass on a good deal if I see one.
