Nearly 3 Years In the Making: GSG StG-44 FRT Approval Pre-Sale!

Well that was frickin bull$#!%, added to cart, filled out the ridiculously long account registration (took 3 mins) and product became 'unavailable' as I went to pay...

electronic optic on WWII era replicas/surplus is blasphemy :p

I played with one of these at a gun show in the states, they feel pretty legit...I can't bring myself to spend that much on a .22...now if it was in a common pistol or intermediate rifle cartridge, I'd be a lot more inclined...but a great piece for anyone who can afford to have it "just because"

I hear you--I've thought about those repro Zf-4 scopes and mounts that are available. This would make it into the rare scoped version of the MP 44. Problem is, I don't think there is a rail available to attach this to the rifle. I have noticed from the video that it has a rail on the rt side of the rear sight base, but it's for the zf-41 scope. I wonder if they would actually come close to fitting.....would someone with deep pockets get back to us on this ? :)

Looks really cool, but a 10 pound 22 rifle??? Awesome for a collection or for display, but absolutley no practical purpose even as a N/R. Now if they came out with a N/R MP38 or MP40 replica in 22LR................there would be no chance for me to say no.

If I remember correctly GSG makes exactly what you're referring to. Now, how long until we can have it in Canada is a different story all together.

Apparently they made it heavy so that it would feel like the original.
