Nikon Prostaffs are good little scopes as well. Can get a 4-12x40mm with a BDC reticle for $269.

Vortex Diamondback 4-12 x 40 should be right around $300. Solid scope with good warranty.

But generally in and around 500 dollar mark
But have spent more

I have only bought S&Bender and meotopa scopes

All depends on the gun really. I spent a decent amount on a bushnell elite 6500 on my savage 10fp (about 850$) and I spent about 450$ on my elite 6-24 on my norc m14. That's pretty much my limit. I have too many other hobbies to spend the likes of 2000$ on a scope. Lol

I like my simmonds predator quest, the glass is ok, it tracks well and has held zero on a few different rifles it's sat on.

It's no Nightforce but good enough for the money.
