***New to Canada*** BERSA THUNDER 9 PRO SEMI-AUTO 9mm

Any updates on those holsters yet?

Manufacturer finally has holsters available, but only right handed ones at the moment. Waiting to see how long for left handed holsters. If it won't be too much longer we'll just wait, if not, then we'll have the right handed ones shipped out to us

One big thing. Looks like Thunder pro only come with one mag. If I want to use it for IPSC, that means I need at least 5-6 spare mags. Do you have good deal for Thunder mags? or where I can get them from? Thank you.

We have a large number of mags in-stock and ready to go. Spare mags are only $39, so loading up won't cost you an arm and a leg.

We also have a bunch of 40 cal mags in stock, they'll fit into the Thunder 9, but not sure if they'll function with 9mm.

Gawd, these are so close to fitting a Cz mag, and yet...not quite.

Taking mine to the range tonight to for first shots:

Yeah, but at the increased cost of CZ mags over the Bersa mags, which are quite well priced compared to CZ mags or any of the other higher end pistols, why would you want to use the other brands?
Got more than a few of extra Bersa mags when I ordered mine, and they work really great. Drop free no prob. You'll love it at the range. I'm just not a fan of the slam-bam de-cocker. There's nothing gradual about it. I realize it is safe, but I prefer the gradual rolling off action of a Sig P226 de-cocker. Still like the Bersa though, despite that. Great quality for the money and they look sharp too.

Now if Hogue only made a set of their G10 grips for the Bersa Thunder 9 Pro. ;-)

I had the opportunity to shoot a Bersa Thunder 9 Pro a few weeks ago. Great pistol, and I totally intend on buying one in the future. The ambidextrous controls are nice and accessible for me as a lefty. The trigger took a little bit to get used to, but it is consistent and the pull is short. I found that the grips looked cheap and were way too bulky, so hopefully aftermarket replacements are made available. Those left handed holsters will be nice when they are available.

Thanks for the review!

Thanks for the review!

I love my new Bersa ! ... but like some of you I would like to see some improvement in the grips. Streamlining them would boost the pistol to the next level.

I contacted VZ grips Customer service page regarding making some grips for the Thunder 9 Pro. I also copied Tactical in the conversations.
I received a quick and informative response from VZ and Tactical. In summary they are both interested, but due to recent projects they (VZ) are keeping this model in mind. Tactical is open to conversation.

Keeping hope that something maybe can happen in the near future ! Hint .. Hint ..

Rj :)
