Hey guys, is there a lot of demand for a m14 sage ebr stock?
Is it something that can move quickly on the EE
I might have an opportunity for one to land in my lap practically but I dont own an m1a

Well I was thinking of getting into the 308 semi game, and id like something nice, springfields are expensive though, ammo is expensive too, so I dunno about an m1a yet.

Yeah they are expensive. Most of the time I shoot surplus and it cost me around 60 cents per shot.
You can get tuned m305 on the EE for a good price unless you want to avoid the norinco all togheter you don't have much of a choice but to spend over 2k.

So basically get it cheap and live with the poor finish or pay up the bill.

On the other hand, with current exchange, I'm guessin a new in box sage chassis is worth over a grand retail.
850 to 950 in excellent condition.

Yah I really can't do the norinco thing, its just not for me, so I'll have to see whether I hold onto the sage stock and wait till xmas to buy myself a nice springfield present or just sell the sage stock now.

Bashaw sports is/was Canada's "official" Sage outlet/warranty center. This straight from my phone conversations with sage intl.
Del selins often has em in stock among other dealers.

I just bought a Springfield...and its worth every penny ! Mounted a CASM 2 mount with a Vortex scope and its amazing ! You can pick up Standards at some Canadian tire stores if you want something higher end, I went with the Loaded model which are harder to find !

My m1a is glass bedded (super match). Does that preclude me from ever putting a stock like you're speaking of on it? I accept that if it is, I'll buy a national match and do the swap down the road.

I like M14's but you can get a lot more gun for less money then the Springfield, like DPMS G2 (less money, more accurate, lighter, modular, very reliable).

Should fit unless it has a heavy barrel.
If my memory serves, these days, sages will accept any M14 type action with standard and medium barrels (except the fancy rear lugged receivers of course)

Ya, its the heavy barrel. Not sure why I'd want to change it. It's a heavy beast and works well. Might give it to my pop for a coyote rifle and then start over.
