Acog tritium refresh

Hey guys, just a quick question, where can I get my 4x acog serviced so that the tritium gets refreshed?

Not sure, but I contacted CSC for Trijicon warranty and they said they would have to send it back to Trijicon in the US.

so CSC is allowed to ship it to the usa and get it shipped back from the usa to them?

or they dont really know for sure? meaning has it been done before?

I've sent an ACOG direct to Trijicon for service work. They have a process and it's very painless. They're very helpful and aware of the complexities between cross border shipping.

From what I've been told it's not a big deal unless it's one of the ITAR restricted scopes, in which case they won't return it.

well its a 4x acog, so yes it is itar restricted

Speak to Ruth at Police Ordnance, she can get you sorted out. They are importers for Trijicon and should be able to get it back to them for service.

Just because it's a 4x32 does not make it ITAR restricted. Only certain models are not allowed export from the US.

I wish I knew that before. I couldnt find anywhere who the Canadian distributor was.
